In Perpetuum was appointed to advise the Heineken bottle supply chain and help produce a “Heineken zero” bottle with near zero environmental footprint.
The glass was 100% recycled.
In Perpetuum advised on replacing fossil fuel sources with a waste source fuel to fire the furnace during the reduction run.
In Perpetuum covered all activities from fuel selection, fuel procurement and system preparation for fuel switchover.
The project delivered Heineken zero bottles with very low carbon impact, scoring well against the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
